The classic selection of special roasted malt and pale barley malt grown in Franconia and the spring water from the Fichtel mountains, endows it with its typical character and the fine malt fragrance. Brewed in the good old-fashioned way, it develops over a long fermenting and maturing period to emerge as a very well balanced and extremely agreeable specialty beer.
