Altos Las Hormigas Colonia las Liebres Bonarda

Made from the Italian variety bonarda, this is a wine with a big personality. It’s a big, ripe, unoaked wine that is like bottled Christmas cake. It displays plenty of spicy dried fruits and cracked pepper with a touch of leatheriness on the nose, whilst the palate is dark and menacing with powerful black fruit flavours, grippy tannins, bright acidity, and a dry, savoury finish.
