An elegant cool climate Shiraz made from selected barrels, only in the most outstanding years. The wine is a dense, dark ruby red colour in the glass. It’s deep, brooding and herbaceous. Complex, lifted aromas of dried herbs, clove and white pepper spices pop out to start. This is followed by supple fruits like dark plum, blackberry and raspberry. There’s also intriguing hints of minerally nori and soft eating liquorice. It finishes long and dry with fine, savoury and assertive tannins.
