Balgownie Estate Black Label Chardonnay

Hailing from the premium chardonnay wine region of the Yarra Valley in Victoria, this little chardy has had a slight change of personality compared to previous vintages. Gone is the ‘worked’, oak-driven style, and in comes a more lightly-oaked version which makes it so food-friendly. Peaches and melons run around the glass and palate, along with a small lick of toast and nuttiness. It’s dry, creamy, crisp and clean, and would go well with poultry dishes.
