Balgownie Estate Chardonnay 750mLOur Estate Chardonnay was whole bunch pressed and provided free run juice with a balance of concentrated flavours, acid and a notable elegance. The juice was fermented using wild yeast to enhance complexity. Barrel fermentation took place over a six week period after which the wine was aged on lees for a further eleven months, with malolactic fermentation discouraged. After time in oak barriques our Chardonnay was bottled. With careful cellaring this wine will continue to develop over 5 to 8 years.
