After living in Salisbury for a few years, David Kitchen decided if he wanted to find great craft beer in his suburb, he was going to have to do something about it. Together with brewer Lachy Crothers, he chose the name Ballistic after discovering that Salisbury secretly produced much of the munitions used by the Australian army during WWII.
