Bannockburn Serre Pinot Noir 750mL

(0)

'The Serre Vineyard is dry-grown, planted in the '80s at a density of 9000 vines per hectare; in '10 it produced 250 grammes per vine, a microscopic yield. The ferment was 100% whole bunches, and the wine spent one year in barriques (33% new) followed by six months in four-year-old barriques. It is a supremely fragrant pinot noir, and has a light, but silky and long, palate with its red cherry/wild strawberry fruit crosscut with savoury/stemmy complexities. 100 dozen made.'
