Batasiolo Barbera d’Alba Sovrana

This bonny little barbara is like a hipster on a scooter – throughly modern and very ‘now’. Light to medium-bodied in style, it shows aromas of crunchy red fruits, especially raspberries, along with whiffs of dried herbs and toasty oak. The palate is elegant and very approachable, with some pepper spice mixed in with the red berry flavours, fine, friendly tannins, and a decent spicy finish.
