Born & Raised The Chance Field Blend (Riesling/Moscato/Gwertz) 750mL48% Riesling, 40% Moscato Giallo and 12% GewurzIn a word, aromatic. We wanted to play with Moscato Giallo to harness its huge aromatic perfume, but in a finely structured dry white, rather than the typical sweet and sparkling way. Displaying pronounced lime blossom, apricot and musk aromatics the pallet is woven around a tight, fine line of Riesling acidity that finishes long.With the early vintage in 2016 we managed to pick the Riesling and Gewurtz together so we could co-ferment. The Moscato come 2 weeks later at perfect ripeness. Vinified in small stainless tanks with a wild fermentation and left on fluffy lees for 2 months with battonage once a week.A wine for sunny, summer days. Designed to drink now.
