The Enmore Estate in Guyana dates back to 1840 and is based at Diamond Distillery in Georgetown. Distilled in 1988, is a classic example of fine Demerara rum. Matured only in American bourbon casks its pale golden colour is unusual for a 20 Year Oldrum. Light in colour but full in nose, deep fruit, burnt sugar and high wood tones give a clear cut introduction to a dry deep palate with toasted spice notes, firm spirit and a well controlled flavour profile, good weight and long dry aftertaste.
