Bundaberg Rum 1960s John Cawsey and Stephen King Bottle 26Fl Oz – This super rare and original 1960s bottle of Bundaberg Rum is a collector’s dream. It is the original Sam McMahon bottle design with Bundy Bear #1 design and designed by Sam (the Prime Minister Billy McMahon’s brother). The bottle would date between 1961 and 1968, since many o the late 1960s bottles were bottled in Bundaberg by the Sugar company.The bottle is a little sun faded and the bottom part of the click seal is moving about but we have had the bottle checked out and the seal is intact. Level is very good due to the tight seal. Stephen King Pty Ltd in Melbourne was eventually absorbed into John Cawsey and Co. making this such a rare bottle – the Stephen King bottle is very rare seen or even mentioned in the archives. Once in a lifetime to own an important piece of Bundaberg Rum’s history.
