Nebbiolo is a traditionally grown variety of Northern Italy & the grapes for this 2012 Cappa Stone Nebbiolo were harvested in the cool of the night from the only vineyard in the Clare Valley that has Nebbiolo. The wine spent 15 months in French oak barrels giving the wine a subtle oak influence & a dusty tannin structure.
