Casamigos Tequila Anejo is produced in Mexico only in very small batches. Casamigos Anejo is created using only 100% Blue Weber agaves grown in the red clay soil of Jalisco where the climate is cool. Once harvested the pinas are roasted slowly over for 72 hours in traditional brick ovens before the juices are fermented over 80 hours using a proprietary yeast blend. To create Casamigos Anejo’s unique, consistent and incredibly refined flavour and character profile it is oak barrel aged over 14 months.Utterly sophisticated in its complexity it is luxuriously sweet. Aromas of smooth caramel enveloped with the delicate softness of vanilla. Creating an impeccable balance of sweetness, the flavor of the Blue Weber agave is layered through with the most exquisite and enticing hints of spice and woody barrel oak. These stick around for the finale, utterly smooth and incredibly lingering.
