From a pretty decent Italian vintage comes this muscle-bound blend of sangiovese, cab sav and shiraz. It’s a vivid number that shows ripe smells of blackcurrants, licorice, rose florals and hints of savouriness on the nose, whilst the palate packs quite a punch with concentrated dark berry and plum flavours, a solid line of tannins, and a rich, earthy finish that just keeps going.
