Castro Martin Casal Caeiro Aguardientes Blanca (500ml)

Now here’s something a little different – a spirit made from the albarino grape. Aguardiente means ‘strong water’ in Spanish, and this one shows appealing herb and floral aromas on the nose, along with a hint of citrus. The palate is light and smooth, with a touch of residual sugar softening things out, some nice stone fruits and herbs in the flavours, and a bit of sweetness on the finish.
