The 2010 Chateau Coutet holds an impressive 154-grams-per-litre of residual sugar and comes with considerable power and balancing clean acidity. The wine is vinified in oak barrels, then spends 18 months maturing in more oak. The style is decidedly concentrated and rich, but disarmingly vibrant and fresh.
