Chateau de Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape

It’s a dark, brooding sort of wine that shows beguiling smells of dark berries and cherries, savoury earthiness, a touch of dried herbs and Asian spices on the nose. The palate is full-bodied, dense and dry, with some tight firmish tannins, a dark fruited middle with touchs of leatheriness, and a tight, savoury-edged finish.
