Chateau De Pez Saint Estephe

Owned by Louis Roederer this is a medium-bodied cabernet blend that shows blackcurrant, black olives, red berries and smoky savouriness on the nose, whilst the palate is dark fruited and olive flavoured, with hints of mocha, some grip to the tannins, and a quite an intense fruit and earth finish. Drinking well now, but may be even better in another year or so. Red – Shiraz and Blends – Cabernet Shiraz Merlot
