100% Torrontes

High altitude wines (2,000 masl) from Cafayate Valley, Salta, Argentina. Dry unoaked wine, hand-harvested from 30-year old vines with sustainable farming.

Best served at 10-13°C

Enjoy with a cheese board, fish and spicy food.

Tasting notes: Pale yellow with greenish tones. Very aromatic with flowery and fresh aromas. Dry, light, and elegant. Intense bouquet with a hint of jasmine. Elegant structure. Good, balanced finish.

About the varietal:
Torrontés is a white indigenous Argentine wine grape variety, producing fresh, dry aromatic wines with moderate acidity, smooth texture and mouthfeel as well as distinctive peach and apricot aromas on the nose.

About the winery:
The Domingo Molina winery is located in the province of Salta, 8 km west of Cafayate, in North Yacochuya. It lies on the Andean mountainside, overlooking the Calchaquí Valleys. Ranging from 1,600 to 2,300 meters above sea level, the vineyards enjoy a special microclimate with more than 300 days of sun, scarce rainfall, and a wide temperature range, all of which allow for excellent grape growing conditions. With vines over 100 years old, the Dominga Molina estate spreads over 60 hectares of desertic-alluvial soil.

With no available electricity, Domingo Molina are the only ones to farm in this location, using gravity fed systems to water the vines. Hand-harvested and carefully selected before the destemming and crushing processes, each lot is vinified separately, with different winemaking processes using sustainable farming and cellaring practices.
