At first, we didn’t believe it, but Dinny Goonan is a real person. What a great name! Dinny planted vines on his property at Bambra, on the Geelong side of Victoria’s Otway Ranges, back in 1990. But it wasn’t until 2001 that the first Dinny Goonan wines were released, with the grapes going to other winemakers before that.
