This wine has a couple of years on it, which means it is more approachable and ready for your drinking pleasure. Lots of dark fruits and pepper spice decorate the nose, with a touch of savoury, ‘meat stew’ character. The palate is sweetly-fruited with black cherries and berries at the heart, all wrapped up in licorice, chewy tannins and a dry, warm finish. A rich beef casserole should go down well with this wine.
