Domaine Millar specialise in shiraz, in fact it’s the only variety they work with! This offering from a decent vintage is a fuller-style of shiraz that still maintains some elegance about it. Red and dark berries and cherries decorate the nose, with whiffs of mocha and slight earthy savouriness. The palate is fleshy and mouth filling, with choc-coated cherry and sweet plum flavours, a good line of talcy tannins, and a smooth, suede finish.
