Zind-Humbrecht is one of those highly intriguing wineries that has gone full-throttle biodynamics. They also have a Master of Wine in the form of Oliver Zind-Humbrecht, so they turn out some pretty good drops. Riesling is the noble grape of Alsace, and this version shows attractive smells of apples, jasmine and lemon citrus on the nose before the palate kicks in with a bit of sweetness upfront, smooth, succulent flavours of pears, some refreshing citrusy acidity, and a honeyed finish.
