Don Ruffin Organic German Rum is a genuine organic rum in a glass mini bottle from the far north of Germany. To prevent confusion in the naming with an Italian winery, the Don R** Rum can only be acquired in its modified form. The two different types of wood give it such a versatile but unique character.The American oak provides subtle aromas of vanilla, crème brûlée and caramelised almonds.For the subtle complexity, which is characterised by subtle tobacco notes, the French oak is responsible. Master Distiller Fabian Rohrwasser distills the Don R*** Rum out of from South American imported molasses in a wood-fired copper pot still. Only the highest quality component of the distillate, the „heart“ is stored in wooden barrels made of American and French oak combined with a finishing in used sherry casks. Small barrel sizes ensure a fast and intense maturing process. The amber Triple Wood Rum has an alcohol content of 43.0 %vol.
