OK, so Elefante does mean Elephant in Spanish, but it can also mean bull as in ‘bull in a china shop’ – go figure! Anyway, none of that really matters, it’s what is in the bottle that matters to us and what there is equates to some juicy value drinking. Raspberries and exotic, earthy spices charge up the nostrils and rampage onto the tongue, quickly followed by a lick of savouriness, some fine tannins and bright acidity cleaning up the decent finish. It would be awesome with some BBQ lamb chops
