Emile Pernot Absinth Deniset Jeune 500mL

(0)

Emile Pernot Absinth Deniset Jeune is 56% ABV. The Deniset Jeune absinthe is one of the few clear absinthes made by the Emile Pernot distillery. It is characterised by its freshness and its distinct wormwood flavour. The name “Deniset Jeune” refers to a former absinthe producer, Henri Denisett, inventors of the pine-bud liqueur called Liqueur de Sapin. This distillery was founded in 1867 in Pontarlier by Henri Deniset Jeune. It became famous under the name Deniset-Klainguer, and after almost 110 years of operation was acquired in 2006 by the Emile Pernot distillery, keeping the important historical brand alive. The label is a vintage Deniset Jeune Absinthe advertising poster, sketched by French artist Marcellin Auzolle, features the character Pierrot (beloved by Belle Epoque absinthe producers) and appears to depict a scene from Don Juan. Enjoy Deniset Jeune in the traditional way, with water and sugar, or in a cocktail
