Erich Polz Sauvignon Blanc Steirische Klassik 2011 (per case of 6)

(0)

Polzs Sauvignon Blancs are among the most compelling anywhere in the world. Grown in southern Styria in Austrias south, this is a moderately aromatic style charming, with pebbly/stony elements supporting some fresh and delicate white florals and stone fruits. There’s a little herbal Sauvignon edge but in an altogether riper way than you might expect. Its succulent and juicy, with a chalky minerality, and those soft edges continue through to the finish. A lovely, balanced Sauvignon Blanc.
