This vintage includes fruit from a number of blocks from different aspects of their vineyards. The fruit was cold-soaked for 36 hours prior to being wild fermented in stainless steel. Fowles Wines have matured this wine in 50% new French oak puncheons and old French oak casks for six months. Added to the final blend is 5.7% Mouvedre providing brightness of fruit and colour and 3% Sangiovese, adding complexity and savoury notes.
