Gelas Armagnac 10 Years De Bortoli Noble One has been matured in casks that previously held “Black Noble” – a desert wine produced by De Bortoli in Australia. The barrels were sent from Australia to France filled with Armagnac from one of France’s top producers, aged for 10 years and then sent back to Australia. This is a real labour of love. Only 320 bottles were produced from the barrel, bottled at cask strength and each bottle is individually numbered. Due the cost involved in process, this collaboration between France and Australia will not happen again, so grab a bottle while you have a chance.Notes of orange, marmalade and chocolate with the suggestion of dried prune in the aftertaste.
