Gerler The Fog Red Blend 750mL

Gerler Wines are a small, artisan supplier based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Their philosophy is to work with a hand selected group of growers from across Australia working with them to ensure high quality fruit can be achieved to allow us to produce incredible wines. All Gerler Wines are made by hand, focusing on the detail, producing wines that are world class, interesting and made with love and we're excited to share with our first Choice Liquor Market customers. Ask any winemaker to think about their busiest vintage and they might describe it as a fog. During the peak of the 2019 vintage, all these varieties were fermenting at once – Touriga, Montepulciano, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo and Nero d'Avola. These two weeks felt like three months, but once the fog had lifted we had some beautiful wines of which to be proud! This blend is rich yet fresh, soft yet, structured – a melange of red, blue, and black fruits with plenty of fine tannin and a long savoury finish.
