‘Evangelo’ is from one of the most lauded and respected wineries in Greece, Ktima Gerovassiliou. Iti s a classic blend of Syrah and Viognier paying homage to the great wines of Cote-Rotie. Fermentation is induced simultaneously for both grape juices in 40hL Burgundian oak tanks. After which malo-lactic fermentation is completed before the wine is then transferred and aged in smaller French oak barrels. The wine is generous in varietal fruit and flavour, yet concentrated and should age gracefully.
