Jura, a neighbour to Islay but the only distillery on the sparsely populated island. The whisky has a delicate nose with hints of ripe tropical fruits and citrus peel. Sweet honey aromas develop in the glass. A drop of water brings out soft toffee, ripe peach and a subtle menthol edge. The taste is initially peppery with green apples and a slight saltiness. A light island malt with a medium creamy finish.
