Gosset Grand Blanc de Blancs Brut

As Blanc de Blanc styles go, this is pretty good value for what is seen as the pinnacle of Champagne styles. This is a crisper, drier number compared to the richer styles of other Gosset fizzes, and shows lots of vibrant apples, citrus, white peach and white florals on the nose. Meanwhile, the palate is quite tight and zippy, with citrus and stone fruit flavours, a bit of cream and chalkiness to the texture, fine bubbles, and a taut, terrific finish.
