Hunter’s Wines Marlborough Gewurztraminer

There’s a lot to like about gewurztraminer. It’s lighter-bodied, aromatic and perfumed, and usually great value! This one is all that, and it’s made in an appealing off-dry style, so it would be awesome with spicy Asian dishes. Scents of lychees, ginger, rosewater and stone fruits waft out of the glass, whilst the palate has a kiss of sweetness before the spicy flavours kick in, with a waxy-textured mouthfeel, and a long fruity finish.
