Hunter’s Wines Marlborough Pinot Gris

Here we have a more off-dry style of pinot gris out of EnZed that would be the bomb with some Asian-inspired dishes – especially if there is chilli involved. Smells of nashi pears, red apples and honeysuckle florals drift out of the glass, whilst the palate is lighter-bodied and soft, with a kiss of sweetness upfront, then a flood of spicy pears, a slight creaminess to the mouthfeel, and a smooth, velvety, slightly sweet finish.
