J.L. Villa Wolf Pinot Gris

(0)

The Pfalz region of Germany is in the south, and is a bit warmer than the Mosel – hence we tend to get richer, riper wine styles. The wine is certainly a fleshier style of PG, with aromas of nashi pears, red apples and ginger spice on the nose. The palate is more medium-bodied and relatively dry, with ripe fruit flavours, bright acidity, and a plush, bright finish. Would be great with a fisherman’s basket. White – Pinot Gris and Blends – Pinot Gris
