Johnnie Walker Swing 1965 Cork Top Scotch Whisky 4/5 Quarts

Very rare mid 1960s Johnnie Walker Swing bottle with the cork and foil top.   The bottle has the highly sought after gold medallion metal front label. Comes gift boxed.  Both bottle and box are in immaculate condition. Very, very rare!This bottle is the incredibly rare and valuable 1960s cork top with lead foil seal. This particular closure was discontinued in 1967. Mainly due to laws against lead seals but also due to the move to a easier to open screw top rather than the somewhat troublesome cork top. The bottle is 4/5 Quarts at 86.8 proof. By the early seventies the proof had dropped to 80 proof. The bottle, cork and lead seal are all in excellent condition. There is some ullage but the level is above the 1820 date but below the outer ring of the seal. There is sediment in the bottom of the bottle.The strong 1960’s style cardboard box is in good condition with only minor blemishes where over time the resin in the box has risen to the surface giving the impression of a sma
