Kiritea Pinot Noir

(0)

Kiritea is the second label of renown Martinborough winery, Te Hera. The name means ‘fair weather’ in Maori, but this is no fair weather friend. It’s a very pretty wine with scents of red berries, earthy spices and florals rising out of the glass and up through the nose hairs. The palate is quite profound with fine, graceful fruit weight, a twist of savouriness and mellow tannins before a fruity, dry finish. It’s top value, and is worth trying before you fork out the $$$ for the top end Te Hera.
