Kurtz Family Vineyards Seven Sleepers Shiraz

Now, here’s a good buy if you are looking for a fulsome and fruity shiraz that still maintains a bit of grace about it. It comes across as a bit better balanced than the 2012 version, with dark fruits and choc-coated plums coming to the fore on the nose, along with hints of toasted vanilla and star anise spice. The palate is rich and plush, with a solid core of plummy and mocha flavours, some lovely suede tannins, and a spiced chocolate finish that will have you licking your lips with delight. R
