The rare La Mauny Vintage 1998 comes from the island of Martinique in the Caribbean. This vintage rhum agricole is distilled from cane harvested in 1998 and aged for six-and-a-half years in casks previously used to mature cognac. An elegant and subtle nose: fruit jam, spices, dry fruit and herb tea. The palate is well structured and good balance with strong aromatic richness. It is both mineral and fruity, tonic, smooth and spicy; long lasting finish.
