(0)

The grapes that gave rise to this wine are found in one of the oldest vineyards in the area, on the high slopes of the Duero River. The grapes were harvested manually in the morning cool and quickly transported to the winery. After a cold maceration, the must fermented in new French oak barrels at a controlled temperature of 12 degrees Celsius for a period of 3 weeks. After fermentation, the wine was transferred without the need for additives or filtration.
As a result, we get a straw-colored and greenish yellow wine. Clean and bright with a beautiful tear. The nose is harmonious and balanced. Thanks to the fermentation, the aromas of citrus and stone fruit were intensified. Melon notes appear in addition to aromas and hints of vanilla and pastry. In the end, classic fennel notes of excellent Verdejo are found. In the mouth, the first impression is wide and intense. The texture is creamy and silky and the finish is soft, fresh and persistent. The citrus and herbal notes are characteristic and clear. The acidity is fresh and good. In general, a sophisticated, round wine with a persistent finish.
