Mazzei Fonterutoli Poggio alla Badiola IGT

Here we have a highly sipable sangiovese blend that is the entry level wine for Mazzei. It’s full of cherries, earthy savouriness and blackberries on the nose, whilst the palate is medium-bodied, dry and elegant, with a dark cherry centre, fine and friendly tannins, and a bright, subtley fruited finish. An excellent food wine with lamb ragu or lasagne. Red – Other Reds – Sangiovese Merlot
