The Triolet started off as an homage to the white wines of Bordeaux, but it has surpassed those wines to become better than most out of France. Aromas of gooseberries, lemon citrus and floral musk leap out of the glass, whilst the palate is lighter-bodied and a little creamy, with fresh citrus flavours, zippy acidity, and a long, lingering finish, with just a lick of herbs in the tail.
