Mountain Goat Rare Breed Captain Amylase Rum Porter is rich roasty and full-bodied with an upfront liquorice character coming from the use of molasses in the kettle. Just a dash of the earthy English Fuggles and Goldings hops were used to allow the malt and rum characters to subtly shine through. A classic dark rum was added at the bright stage. It finishes dry with a pleasant lingering finish.
