Old Crow Bourbon was inspired by Dr James Crow and many consider him to be the true father of Bourbon. While earlier being a physician, Dr Crow brought his scientific approach to whiskey making and forged a famous career. The present day Old Crow spends 24 months in oak to produce a Bourbon that is delightfully smooth which can be enjoyed in a number of ways including with your favourite mixer.The current Old Crow product uses the same mash and yeast bill as Jim Beam, but is aged for a shorter period of time and mixed to a more lenient taste profile before bottling. The Old Crow brand has a venerable history as one of Kentucky’s earliest bourbons. Old Crow is aged in charred american oak barrels for a minimum of three years,Australian only release with the black label similar to Old Crow Reserve in the US.
