Petaluma’s ‘Coonawarra’ has been delivering outstanding Bordeaux-style wines for decades with the blend, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, two of the best varietals from South Australia’s renowned Coonawarra region. The 2004 is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot creating a ripe palate of red fruits, mint, mocha with hints of cedar strung together with soft, supple tannins, now even more delicate with the extra maturation in bottle.
