Picardy Pemberton Red Blend

This more medium-bodied style of red gives a nod to the right bank of Bordeaux whilst maintaining it’s Aussie roots with it’s fruit-forward nature. There’s plenty of tightly-coiled blackcurrants, florals, choc-mint, tobacco leaf and savoury earthiness on the nose, whilst the palate has a savoury theme, with a core of dark fruits in the centre, a solid line of tannins, poised acidity, and a taut, long, fist-clenching finish that demands time in the cellar to loosen up a little.
