This late-bottled vintage port is surpisingly quite a fruity little number. Fresh brambly fruit smells rise form the glass, together with some toast and licorice notes. The palate is full-bodied and lush with a smooth, fleshy mouthfeel, some grip to the tannins, and a bright, red fruited, warm finish courtesy of 20% alcohol.
