By 1893 the vision paid off with the first gold medal being awarded helping the distillery gain a reputation around Normandy. 5 generations on, Jean Roger Groult continues the family tradition. The Doyen dage is a blend with an average age of at least 70 years. Concentrated, rich and velvety its heady mix of baked apples, smoke, orange blossoms, tobacco and vanilla.
