The fruit was sourced from a number of vineyards located in various sub regions of the Barossa Valley with a portion of Eden Valley (33%) fruit also included to give the wine more complexity. Maturation took place in 16% new American oak and 13% new French oak barrels, with the remainder a mix of 2 year old hogshead barrels (46% American & 25% French) for a period of 22 months.
